Implications of Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 5) #16[]
It's pretty clear that this comic is indicating that the "Unhuntable Sergei" who appeared in Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (Vol. 2) #32 was actually a clone, and was killed off-panel by "Last Son of Kraven" due to being a disgrace to Kraven's legacy. Arawn 999 (talk) 19:15, February 28, 2019 (UTC)
- Did I miss something in the issue? Because I don't recall seeing anything indicating Kraven never left the Savage Land or that he's clones went off and impersonated him. In anycase, how could we explain the Sergi of Scarlet Spider Vol 2, since his daughter abandoned him prior to the clones being activated yet she's shown working with one here. - The comic is a bit unclear about a few minor details, perhaps deliberately so as to encourage speculation. However, the Kraven seen in Scarlet Spider Vol. 2 was undoubtedly the real Sergei, since his and Ana's goal was to break the curse of immortality placed on him by his botched resurrection during Grim Hunt; and Kraven's creation of his clones and Ana's defection presumably take place at some point after that. As for the implication that the Unhuntable Sergei from Unbeatable Squirrel Girl was a clone... I personally can't reconcile him having been the real Kraven with the events and revelations of Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 5) #16. Arawn 999 (talk) 03:26, March 14, 2019 (UTC)
