History
King Borna was the monarch of Valusia, and allegedly a tyrant.
Conspiring against Borna were four-members group made of Baron Kaanuub of Blaal (meant to become king in Borna's stead), Count Ducalon of Komahar, the soldier Eranos, and the poet Ridondo. Ridondo lied to Kull, the commander of the Black Legion, telling him Borna was about to disband the Legion. Kull consequently rushed to the palace, challenged and slew Borna in combat and took the crown from him, to the conspirators' surprise.[1]Notes
- Borna was created by Robert E. Howard in his Kull stories "Riders Beyond the Sunrise", "By This Axe I Rule!", and others.[2]
