The Illusions of Ikonn is a spell summoned by invoking Ikonn, and who can act in two ways:
- An Illusion Spell,
- A Dispel Illusion Spell.[1]
The Images of Ikonn is a spell summoned by invoking Ikonn, and who can act in two ways:
- A Trance Spell of a very high skill level,
- As the Image Projection Spell, but it can create multiples images at once.[1]
It usually creates visible duplicates of the caster to obscure and confound enemies.[2][4] However, this spell can also create a variety other visual and auditory illusions.[5][6][7][8]
History
Doctor Strange frequently uses the Images of Ikonn to create visual duplicates of himself to cause distractions or evade attacks.[9][2][10][11][4]
When the Defenders fought the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Doctor Strange used the Illusions of Ikonn to combat Mastermind's psychic projections.[12]
Doctor Strange has used the Illusions of Ikonn to appear as a bird of prey while flying.[5]
Doctor Strange called upon the Illusions of Ikonn to see through deceptions and reveal truths.[6]
Once when trapped in a bank during a robbery, Doctor Strange cast the Illusions of Ikonn to ensure only the robbers would see his astral form.[7]
During a deep depression, Doctor Strange subconsciously cast an illusion of Clea that briefly fooled himself.[8]
While infiltrating an A.I.M. facility in Manhattan, Doctor Doom used the Crystals of Cyndriarr, the Flames of the Faltine, and the Images of Ikonn.[13]

Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-199999)[]
While battling on Titan, Doctor Strange used the Images of Ikonn to attack Thanos. However, the duplicates of himself each mimicked not only his form, but also his abilities, allowing him to bind Thanos with Eldrich Whips, only for Thanos to destroy his duplicates using the Power and Soul Stone.[14]
Dormammu Killed Doctor Strange (Earth-30468)[]
After Dormammu killed Doctor Strange, Strange's ghost possessed the body of his former acolyte Jamie Madrox. To fend off Dormammu, Strange employed the Images of Ikonn, the Conjured Crystal of Cyttorak and the Shield of the Seraphim.[15]See Also
