Alcemides (Earth-616)

Alcemides was a philosopher during the Hyborian Age of Conan.^[1][2]

He and his fellow philosopher Astreas were native of Nemedia.^[1]

From Khauran, Astreas kept Alcemides informed on the situation relative to the usurpation of the throne by "Taramis", Salome the Witch, and the troubles set by the Zuagirs led by Olgerd Vladislav and Conan.^[1]

After Alcemides told King Conan of Aquilonia that boiled water was less likely to cause disease, Conan had his troops to drink water so treated.^[2]
