Tornies are small, black tornado creatures with a pair of eyes.
Behavior[]
Tornies are found spawning from the sky, and they take shape upon hitting the ground. If Wario tries to jump on a Torny before it has fully formed, he is briefly lifted into the air.
In Virtual Boy Wario Land[]
Tornies are only encountered in the level Stage 7. Wario can ride on a Thorny, allowing him to safely travel across several Plant Chompers without taking damage. A Thorny is also used to defeat the Big Blob, a mini-boss encountered later into the level.
