Bowser's Galaxy Generator is the final level of both World 6 as well as the main story of Super Mario Galaxy 2. It is not the last overall level because World S becomes available upon clearing the level.

Stars[]

Bowser's Fortified Fortress[]

Mario crosses the entire fortress, dodging lava pits, fire balls, Banzai Bills, crushing walls, and many different types enemies in hopes are confronting Bowser for the final time. Upon reaching Bowser, the fight is played the same as the previous ones, only after his defeat, there is a part two in which Mario mush fling meteorites at Bowser while flying through space at what seems to be a very fast pace.

Bowser's Big Bad Speed Run[]

Mario has to complete the galaxy within the time limit. Bowser is not fought at the end.

Green Star 1[]

It is hovering above lava near the start, and it can only be safely reached using a Floaty Fluff.

Green Star 2[]

It is found near the tilting platform with Yoshi, somewhat out of bounds. It can only be safely reached using the Cloud Flower power-up or with the assistance of Yoshi.

Other appearances[]

While the location itself has not returned, the theme for Bowser's Galaxy Generator has also appeared in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. It is also one of the playable songs in the Mario Galaxy stage of both Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
