Bunga: Look it! The water's reached the trees at Mapema Rock!
Beshte: Poa! You're right, Bunga! That means...uh, what does that mean?
Bunga: It means it's the peak of the rainy season! It's time for Utamu!

The Lion Guard[]

"The Search for Utamu"[]

While with the Lion Guard, Bunga notices that the water has reached the trees near Mapema Rock. When the other members of the Lion Guard react with confusion, Bunga explains that it means that it's the peak of the rainy season and therefore time for Utamu.

While on the hunt for Utamu, Bunga tells his friends the story of how he'd met his uncles, Timon and Pumbaa. Long ago, when he'd just been an infant, Bunga had spotted Timon and Pumbaa near Mapema Rock, following dung beetles to Utamu. Bunga had taken to them immediately, and there, at Mapema Rock, the three had met for the first time.
