Die Theorie der fastperiodischen Funktionen entwickelte H. Bohr namentlich in drei großen Abhandlungen in den Acta Mathematica45, S. 29–121;46, S. 101–214;47, S. 237–281 (1924–1926). Zitiert als: Bohr I, II, III.
Der Gedanke einer Ableitung der Parsevalschen Gleichung auf diesem Wege findet sich, worauf ich nachträglich aufmerksam gemacht worden bin, schon bei I Schur, Schwarz-Festschrift, S. 404. Doch fehlt dort noch der für meine Methode entscheidende Punkt, da die “Abgeschlossenheit” des Orthogonalsystemse ins als bekannt vorausgesetzt wird. (Zusatz bei der Korrektur 10. 8. 26.)
