We love this farmhouse-style dining table design because it works equally well in modern, rustic, or modern-rustic spaces. And the Parkman-specific addition of a beefy half-lap joint enhances the look regardless of the surrounding motif. As a default, The Joyce is priced here with a 1.5"-thick tabletop, as seen in the third photo of Graham dining politely with a napkin in his collar (Douglas fir with Light Charring). But send us a Custom Quote Request for a Joyce dining table with a 2"-to-3"-thick top, as seen in the primary photo (naturally fallen ash). The legs and supports are made from 3.5"-square beams in a classic H-frame. Unlike many of our designs, the legs are typically set close to the long sides of the tabletop, which is an aesthetic choice more than anything. The wide-set frame provides a sense of prominence that compliments the elephantine legs. If you have chairs that you'd like to pair with this piece, please let us know and we can adjust the space between the legs on the long sides of the table in order to accommodate as many chairs as you'd prefer. We can even add similarly sized chairs to your digital rendering so you can see exactly how the spacing will work out.
