Bosses[]
This table contains bosses and their descriptions that are unique to quests, although some often reappear in events. Bosses are considered somewhat distinguished from normal enemies. For example, bosses are almost always the only fight during a quest, and often yield additional rewards such as a title and jewels (more commonly in later quests). Bossfights also typically occur only at the end of a location's specific quest arc, and always advance the plot. Sometimes a major enemy instead of a boss is fought, but not often. All bosses are a target battle, but not all target battles are a boss. Bosses typically do not recur more than once, except for a small few.
For the sake of clarity, enemies that are always fought alone during a quest are considered a boss, unless later on they simply serve as a normal enemy, effectively nullifying their former boss status. Bosses that appear in groups are exempt from this, provided they always do, such as the Volcanic Lord and Blizzard Lord.
