Talk about an original pitch! Yuri Paddle makes a strong statement with its bold, monochrome colour palette, and an even stronger one with its story setup. But its strongest statement comes in its impeccable black comedy writing, filled with snappy dialogue and prose that show the writers really get anime cons and the people that frequent them. Especially a certain character that is so delightfully hateable.
As a murder mystery themed game, it was neat to play around with some Ace Attorney style crime scene investigating and evidence presenting, though I did feel the pacing and structure left a little bit to be desired; I get the impression some things had to be cut for time as some threads and characters are introduced but never followed up on, and as a result there isn't much mystery to the murder.
Still though, this game is funny as hell and an absolute mood.
Woah there pardner, I shoulda read the CW properly next time, but boy this was g o o d. Seeing all the references, or more like, figuring them out and then getting a laugh out of them was great. I hope Stella gets a proper paid break after all this, conventions can be hell on earth and I've only ever attended them, not been responsible for their inner workings.
Big respect to sticking to one colour scheme for the full game! The sprites vibrating and changing to show the character's moods was A+ work. Stella's dialogue (and inner monologue) choices were so much fun, I feel her pain.
This was such a fun ride, getting to explore and present evidence felt nostalgic, in a very good way. Cool choice to go with, in my opinion. And the UI for some reason makes me think of cotton candy, so extra points for that.

A short and sweet game. I've never been to an anime convention, so it was fun learning stuff about them too.
Pink is so pretty! Fun to play
haven't played your game yet, just wanted to say I'm surprised more people than myself have used a yuri paddle as a plot point in a story.

Thank you for making this game!!
Thank you so much for the kind words, Nue!
Download file(s), how should I install it?
Simply unzip/extract the .zip and click the .exe file!
I have a Mac not a PC. trying to get the .app file to open. my Mac don't like it.
We've gone ahead and uploaded a separate Mac build to download. Should be easier for Mac users to access now.
Thinks!
