The Persian Elite Set was an armor set worn by the Elite Persian forces. In 5th century BCE, the set was commonly worn by highest ranks of the soldiers working for the Order of the Ancients. During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra defeated the members of the Order of Hunters, a branch of the Order of the Ancients, in Makedonia, and claimed a set of the armor for her own.
