Werner Bronkhorst on Instagram: "‘Avid Skier’ *sold I loooove it when I receive messages from art lovers who also happen to be avid skiers. I paint artworks that tell a story but it’s even better when I receive long messages telling a story of a first day on the slopes as a kid, or a memory with a loved one and how my artworks take people back to a simpler time. These stories really tickle my fancy and sometimes even make me shed a tear (or two). I’m grateful for all the stories and memories Werner Bronkhorst Art, Skier Painting, Skiing Painting, Ski Painting, Telling A Story, Soyut Sanat Tabloları, Textured Canvas Art, Plaster Art, Tableau Art

Gelli Arts® Gel Printing on Instagram: "I is for... IMAGE TRANSFER! Gelli Arts® Artist @birgit_koopsen using the Stazon technique. The chance to get successful transfers is much higher than when using the acrylic paint only technique! For more detailed instructions you can watch Birgit’s video on the @gelliarts YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/TE1nAbRYq74 🎨 Note: It’s the same image in the end as the beginning! The image being transferred is the one facing down to the plate where the ink is, not the one on top. It would be impossible to transfer the top image this way. 😀 The ABC's of Gel Printing Challenge is here! Don't forget to print along with us all month long and tag your artwork with #abcprintingchallenge 😊 📸Photography by @dimahohlovstudio ❤️Model @aacurls #GelliArts # Gelli Arts Ideas, Gel Printing Techniques, Birgit Koopsen, Gelli Plate Art, Gel Printing, Stazon Ink, Plate Ideas, Gelli Plate Printing, Gelli Arts

Jessica Russo Scherr | Artist on Instagram: "Painting in Reverse Painting on a gel plate for a monotype requires a reversed thinking process, starting with the final layers first. You can’t easily retouch areas, so planning is key. I begin with my palette and use a small brush to add color details that will appear behind the monotype image transfer of my photograph. Then, I fill in the larger spaces and consider the underpainting’s role and how the transfer layer color might affect the gel plate colors. Working on a piece of plexiglass helps me check the process, and more layers mean longer drying times. About This Monotype “Alley of the Crushers” depicts Vico dei Panettieri, a historic street in Naples, Italy. Its name comes from its past in flour milling, originally called Vico Pisto Flour Milling, Gelli Printing Art, Thinking Process, Reverse Painting, Gelli Plate Art, Gel Plate, Gelli Plate Printing, Gelli Arts, Instagram Painting
