King Pacal was a 7th century Mayan ruler. His sarcophagus is in the Temple of the Inscriptions, a stepped pyramid in Palenque, Mexico. Ancient alien theorists say that the image on the lid of the sarcophagus depicts King Pacal as an astronaut, with his hand on the control panel, his foot on the pedal and an oxygen tube in his mouth.
