Description This week, it's all about color & pattern as I am finishing up some miniature African animal sculptures (Somali giraffes & zebras). These are fairly big animals in real-life, with babies standing at 6 feet tall when born, and some growing to the height of 17-19 feet. This juvenile giraffe was sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature, painted, and the powder-fine wool flock coat was applied in small patches at a time.
