Cultural intermixing and interaction give rise to the process of acculturation where one group accept and adopt the practice of another group. The present paper examines how the misings who resides in the states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam mainly in Brahmaputra valley got acculturated to the plains of the valley over a period of eight hundred years. This paper empirically looks at the stages of acculturation and the threat of possible cultural extinction with regard to the misings. I #InspireInclusion by focusing on the 'I' of Inclusion.  What can every 'I' do to create a wave of systemic change without waiting for the world to change as change is the responsibility of all! I write tirelessly about diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingness as the space needs more evangelists! ➕What makes you remarkable? #IAmRemarkable because I challenged the stereotype that women cannot be effective when they return from a career break at a time when returnship programs were unheard of! ➕ What advice would you give to individuals who struggle with self-promotion in order to gain recognition for their achievements? Do not feel alone in the journey of self-promotion. There are hundreds who are struggling to build this muscle. Be clear about what you can gain in your career through effective and authentic self-promotion and get to work on it. Never underestimate the power of allies around you. Enlist their support in your journey towards confident self-promotion. ➕What's one feedback you received from a participant that will stay with you forever? 🌟✨ Namya Joshi at RWS24: Navigating SDG 4 Through Youth, Gender, and Sustainability 🌍🔥 Namya Joshi, Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardee, #Unstoppable 21 under 21, Diana Award recipient, and #TEDx Speaker, shared her journey at #RWS24. "Six years ago, I discovered #Minecraft, initially as a game but soon realized its potential for #education. My classmates found textbook learning boring, so I started using Minecraft to create engaging lessons." Namya's first project was converting a history lesson on #Egyptian civilization into Minecraft, which was a great success. "Both teachers and students were more engaged with self-based learning and could revisit concepts easily. This inspired me to train teachers and peers globally in game-based learning and create course materials with Minecraft." At 17, Namya has conducted free coding #workshops for over 15,000 teachers and young people, especially girls, in #India and worldwide.
