Drawing Inks and water resistance
Our Drawing Inks are water resistant – apart from Liquid Indian Ink, Gold and Silver. However, all the coloured inks are made from dyes which can bleed out into subsequent washes. The degree of bleeding varies from colour to colour and with the amount of water used, so it’s recommended that you test chosen colours before using them in your work.
Carsten Daub x Fineliner
Pen and ink illustrator Carsten Daub created this atmospheric piece using our new Fineliners. Their smooth, tapered nibs give a consistent and even flow of ink, and longer barrels mean they sit comfortably in the hand. Their non-fading and water resistant pigment ink will stand the test of time.
