This just gave me an idea. Maybe the solar-mind connection extends to all life on the planet with any kind of mental capacity (eg. animals, not plants or bacteria or something like that). This doesn’t make a bird as intelligent as a human, but it enables a mental connection between the human and the bird (as an example) so simple requests can be communicated and maybe even the bird’s memories can be searched or it can be used as a second set of eyes for the intelligent person taking…

Artist Adam S. Doyle who recently relocated to Hong Kong creates beautiful gestural paintings of birds, where the seemingly incomplete brushstrokes form the feathers and other details of the animal. In some strange way it reminds me of the story of the Renaissance painter Giotto who is rumored to have been able to draw a perfect circle without the aid of a compass, as if Doyle just picks up a dripping paint brush and in a few seconds paints a perfect bird.
