We use a hidden joinery system so that not only does this look more appealing than nail heads showing in the face of your shelf, but this provides a MUCH sturdier mounting process that will keep your mantle secure and beautiful. The bracket pulls out from inside the shelf & is mounted directly on your wall. The hollow shelf simply slides right onto the bracket! This system is extremely sturdy & very easy to mount! Directions and screws are included in each package. Mount into studs for excellent and sturdy results! Q: How much weight do these shelves hold? A: Our shelves have been tested to hold at least 50lbs when mounted & installed correctly.
