Featured in the Etsy "Keep Commerce Human" campaign, this retro, modern, and playful grid vase is equal parts functional and fun, making it the perfect gift (for yourself or others). Entirely handcrafted from start to finish, each mug is carefully and thoughtfully made to order, over the course of several weeks. Durability Thrown on the potter's wheel, using a high quality stoneware clay that mimics porcelain, each mug is thoughtfully created with durability in mind. All tableware is not only food and drink safe, but also microwave, dishwasher, and even oven safe!* Craftsmanship is my primary focus, as I want to create long lasting functional artworks that spark joy with every use. Dimensions At roughly 4"h x 3.5"w this vase makes an amazing gift and is perfect for showcasing a small bouquet of flowers or simply serving as decoration. Details The inside of the vase as well as each square is glazed, while the rim and checkered lines are left bare - exposing the raw clay. It is a wonderful and unexpected visual and textural contrast! Please note that these ceramics are made by a single set of real human hands! While all pieces are as close to identical as possible, they do of course have slight variations. These subtle inconsistencies can be found in size, finish, glazing (i.e. drips, color gradients) etc. All are imperfectly "perfect", and what makes a handmade piece of pottery so immensely special! :) A friendly reminder - this listing is currently made to order, and will take approximately 4-5 weeks to ship depending on order size, material availability, and studio firing schedule.
