FPS[ | ]
The FPS setting changes the maximum FPS the game will run at. Lowering the FPS can increase performance but also cause small issues within gameplay.
- There are 2 FPS options:
- 30 FPS
- 60 FPS
- Additionally, on the PC version of the game, there are 2 more options:
- 90 FPS
- 120 FPS
These requires a computer powerful enough and to notice a difference, you should use a high refresh rate monitor.
PP[ | ]
PP stands for Post Processing. This is generally used to increase something called graphic fidelity, or more simply how beautiful the game looks. Enabling this may reduce performance.
Reflection[ | ]
Reflections on various surfaces (mirrors, water, shiny floors, etc.) can be toggled on or off.
Physics[ | ]
This setting is slightly misleading as it does not affect all game physics. It simply refers to the "bounciness" of some in-game objects. It can be toggled on or off.
Miscellaneous[ | ]
Other options include:
- High Quality
- This option, like PP, augments the look of the game by using higher quality assets.
- HDR (high dynamic range imaging)
- This option affects luminosity or lighting in the game to give a more vivid look.
- Anti-Aliasing
- Anti-aliasing, like PP, augments the look of the game by reducing "jagged" lines.
- Distortion
- Will distort all moving objects in the game. It can be toggled on or off.
