Leomon is a major protagonist in Digimon Tamers. His known attack is Fist Of The Beast King. He is partner of Jeri Katou.
In the English version, he is voiced by Paul St. Peter.
In the Japanese version, he is voiced by Hiroaki Hirata.

He looks like the original Leomon but they are in a different universe.
Digimon Tamers[]
Leomon first appeared from a rainbow when Jeri and Calumon were attacked by Kumbhiramon. He drives the rat away, and Jeri was charmed by Leomon’s handsome appearence to Leomon’s embarrassment. Jeri befriends Leomon.
While journeying in the Digital World with the Tamers to rescue Calumon, Leomon and the others befriend an Andromon (later Guardromon) who was defeated by Orochimon, an eight-headed serpent. He kidnaps Jeri as Leomon tries to rescue her, but fails. Leomon feels guilty for not saving Jeri in time, but with the help of the Gekomon, Leomon comes face to face with Orochimon. He along with Renamon and Guilmon fight Orochimon. With the help of Jeri’s Digi-Modify card, Leomon defeats Orochimon with the Darkness Wave attack.
In the end, during Beelzemon's attack on the Tamers, Leomon tries to convince to Beelzemon that to have power that he was given is not to be strong, but Beelzemon, angry by this, killed the lion warrior by strucking him through the stomach, and as Leomon lay dying, he reminded Jeri to be brave and she has a lion's heart. After that, his data was also absorbed by Beelzemon, leaving Jeri mournful, upset, and sad. Takato then went into a rage to avenge Leomon's death. After a grueling battle, Jeri orders Takato to spare Beelzemon’s life as it won’t bring Leomon back to life.
Later, during the D-Reaper battle, while attempting to rescue Jeri and Calumon, Beelzemon shows the spirit of Leomon himself and used his attack, Fist of The Beast King, and blasted a hole to tried and pull Jeri out, but Jeri was still traumatized by Beeelzemon murdering Leomon back at the Digital World, and Beelzemon was badly wounded by the D-Reaper, and reverts back into an injured Impmon. Eventually, Jeri remembered Leomon’s words and finally becomes brave and fights back against the D-Reaper. In the end, Jeri later forgave Impmon for killing Leomon in the final episode before returning back to the Digital World along with the other Digimon Partners.
