Karina is the fifth-born daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena, the younger sister of Mala, Indira, Caspia, and Tamika, the older sister of Perla and Ariel, the sister-in-law of Prince Eric, and the niece of Ursula. She is the live-action counterpart of Arista. She is one of the seven protectors of the Seven Seas. Her job is to rule and protect the Saithe Sea.

Personality[]

The majority of Karina's personality is unknown since she has a minor role in the film. However, it was proven in some scenes of the movie and was implied by the filmmakers that she is the most decisive of all her sisters, who she holds the strongest instinct. She is a defender of the seals and has a great fear of humans. However, her fear of humans changed after Ariel reunited the two species.

Physical Appearance[]

Karina is a young adult mermaid with long wavy white hair that is wrapped up into a ponytail. Her outfit is mainly colored transparent, but her entire bottom chest part is covered up with sky blue and has lines of the same colors crossing over her shoulders. Her tail is a color pattern of white, dark blue, and cyan with some designs at the bottom.
