Hunting Society is a group of hunters, trappers and trackers from Assassin's Creed III that can be found through out the Frontier
History[]
The group was founded in 18th century and had servel members in in the group including Simon Girty. Originally the Hunting Society was founded to build cabins in several locations in the Frontier as places of rest and safe havens during hunting season.
While their cabins originally stated out as shared space the group eventually became a society eventually changing the cabin spaces for members of the Hunting Society. What original started out as people who enjoyed hunting having respect for nature and the animals turned into a group of people who started boasting, bragging and telling tales about hunting adventures. This lead to fighting within the Hunting Society as many members didn't like the boasting, bragging and lying told by other members.
To fix the problem of the lying in the society every member had to start logging in the animals they killed and number of kills on paper but this still didn't stop people from lying about their kills when they wrote them down.
Much like the other groups found in the game Connor can join the Hunting Society after catching their attention by killing one species of every animal in the Frontier. Once Connor joins him the Hunting Society gives him challenges and missions to complete to test him just like every other member. Completely these tasks help Connor climb through the ranks of the society. Aside from hunting for sport the Hunting Society will be given jobs to hunt down dangerous animals causing trouble animals that have attacked and killed people or their live stock.
Because the Hunting Society has had to kill animals threatening people Connor has be tasked to kill a man eating bear, a wolf that has attacked people and a cougar that was going around and killing children. However the last dangerous animal that Connor had to track down for the Hunting Society was named King Edward the Elk. An aggressive elk who has been unlike in finding a mate so King Edward the Elk making the elk very hostile towards humans, elk and other animals. However it has been reported to King Edward the Elk strongly did not like horses more than anything else.
