Flynt Coal is a minor hero in the animated web series RWBY he is the leader of Team FNKI which is made up of himself Neon Katt, Kobalt, and Ivori.
He is voiced by Flynt Flossy in the English dub, and by Tooru Sakurai in the Japanese dub.
Appearance[]
Flynt appears as a dark skinned teenage male with amber eyes.
Original Outfit (Volume 3)[]
His outfit during the Vytal festival in Volume 3 consists of a black suit vest with a white dress shirt, a light blue unfastened tie, black dress paints with white stripes, black and white dress shoes, sunglasses and a black fedora with a light blue stripe
Current Outfit (Volume 7)[]
In Volume 7 Flynt's outfit is almost the same with the only differences being he wears a black tuxedo jacket and his glasses have lighter tints, his outfit is also darker in color.
Biography[]
Volume 3[]
Flynt and his team fight in the Vytal festival after moving on to the doubles round Flynt and his teammate Neon take on Weiss Schnee and Yang Xiao Long where Flynt recognizes Weiss before asking her if she's good with dust before saying that his father owned a dust shop before Weiss' father ran his shop out of business and initially doesn't believe Weiss' Sympathy. During the fight Flynt is nearly eliminated when Weiss knocks him into a lava jet, however Flynt still has enough aura to stay in the fight while Weiss is eliminated, however Flynt as well as Neon is shortly eliminated by Yang
Flynt along with the rest of the students fight in the Battle of Beacon against Grimm, White Fang troops, and Atlesian machines infected with the black queen virus.
Volume 7[]
Flynt along with the rest of his team participate in a sparing match against Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren, and Oscar Pine with all of the members of FNKI being defeated by them, with Flynt offering of them to grab lunch with them, however the 4 are called on a mission as Team FNKI walks off.
