Cartoon Mouse is a mysterious and cowardly cartoon cryptid who originates from fan-made Trevor Henderson Mythology.

Personality[]

He is known for his shy and friendly demeanor, a stark contrast to the more ominous presences of Cartoon Cat and Cartoon Dog, under whose employment he reluctantly serves. Despite his unease with their violent and carnivorous nature, he remains silent out of fear, understanding the natural predator-prey dynamic between cats and mice. In moments when Cartoon Cat isn't watching, he quietly intervenes to assist people, managing to make a difference on occasion.

However, the fear of reprisal or even being consumed himself keeps him from taking any decisive action to leave his job with Cartoon Cat. Physically not very strong, he often feels helpless and unable to defend himself or others in dangerous situations. This changes dramatically when he undergoes a transformation into a powerful form, a tale that holds promise but remains untold for now.

Origin[]

Before becoming the cartoon creature known as Cartoon Mouse, he was originally a lab rat named Bartholomew, likely hailing from Russia or Germany, given the origin of his name. Bartholomew was subjected to a series of experiments by scientists who injected him with DNA from the infamous Cartoon Cat. This genetic alteration transformed him into Cartoon Mouse, a creature bearing both cartoonish qualities and a deep-seated grudge against the scientists responsible for his transformation.

As a result of his bitter resentment, Cartoon Mouse exhibits a notable lack of empathy towards scientists. He does nothing to prevent Cartoon Cat from targeting and eliminating them and may even assist in these grim endeavors. This backstory and his transformation can be pieced together from two charred lab entries recovered from the remnants of the lab, which was mysteriously burned down (see Gallery for details).

This enhanced context provides a deeper understanding of Cartoon Mouse’s motivations and complex character, highlighting the tragic origins and the darker aspects of his existence within the broader narrative.
