Upper Flagley was a small village in Yorkshire, England.[1] It is one of the many villages throughout Britain where witches and wizards settled in numbers after the International Statute of Secrecy to rely on each other for mutual support, living alongside a Muggle population.[1]
In 1998, Ron Weasley suggested that he, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger might find one of Lord Voldemort's horcruxes there.[2]
Upper Flagley was also the location of the ancestral home of a gentry wizarding family known as the Clokes,[3] as well as the St Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards, a wizarding nursing home for the elderly.[4]
