Chambers played as Chaser for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team during the 1995–1996 school year. In the Quidditch final that year Ronald Weasley deflected a goal attempt by Chambers.[2]

"Chambers" is a surname that arrived in England with the Norman Conquest. It was an occupational surname for a servant in the bedroom of a nobleman.
