Anitra Ingalls is a biogeochemist who aims to learn what the chemical signatures of microorganisms can tell us about their involvement in feedbacks between the global cycles of carbon and nitrogen and climate in the past, present and future.
My research group studies the chemical signatures of microorganisms to understand the feedbacks between the global cycles of carbon and nitrogen and climate.
The Ingalls lab uses chemical fingerprints of marine microbes to characterize the health and resilience of past and present microbial communities.
