Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion

You've made it to the third level!

This challenge is for serious readers. This is the 3rd level of this challenge. The challenge consists of many levels, each level consisting of 100 books. So if you have not completed your first two hundred, go back and complete Level 1 & Level 2 of the Serious Readers Challenge for 2011. Just create your list of books (at this level label them 201 through 300) and mark them off with a strike through them as you finish. If you find you can't finish one of the books on your list for any reason, you may replace it with another. Also, if you just want to decide what you read as you go you can do that as well. Since this challenge is for the year 2011 any books you've read this year (if you get a late start) may be included. If you get done with one level, but I haven't created the next just let me know and I'll add the next level to our challenge as soon as I can. This is a free choice challenge. Read whatever you want. Melanie, You're reading Kresley Cole. I love her. I bought a bunch of Catherine Anderson's books, but have only read one so far. Loved The Ireon duke. Looks like I need to look into Jill Shalvis. I can see you liked it.

Lisarenee - I really enjoyed Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor books, LOVED C.Anderson's historicals (not as big of a fan of her CRs though), which I can't recommend enough if you like some angst and tormened heroines (I'd start with Comanche Moon, Annie's Song or Keegan's Lady)... Loving Kresley Cole (have you read her historicals? They're fabulous!!) and I have the next three IAD books on my shelves:-D Also looking forwards to the next book in the Iron Seas series!!

I've actually been slow this month... Been on three books in the last week that have been going pretty slowly:-)

Thanks. I think I have one or two of her historicals, but haven't read them yet, but I may be confusing her with Sherrilyn Kenyon. I was into both of their books at the same time and I know I got one or both of their historicals. I'll need to check my shelves.

Congrats Shay. I may not get to 300 this year. I've been distracted by a lot of other things this year. The main one being my kid's school realizing I'm a stay at home mom who can help out. I got more volunteer hours in the last 4 months than I thought possible. Last year I couldn't get them to let me help out with anything. Now they know I'm a handy person to have around and they keep asking to lead one of the PTA committees.

My son's school doesn't want me around at all. Well, either of their schools. The schools, for security reasons, don't want you roaming anyway so they like you to set an appointment in advance and get permission. They had to order one of the schools to let me on campus at will. (Because he's disabled)

I really liked it .. a lot! Most YA doesn't pull me in this way, but I really liked the characters and the action ... It's first in series, but it doesn't give you one of those abrupt, ugly endings either.
