Have to say I’m pretty surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. My 14yo daughter was reading it and kept talking about how good it was, so I decided to see what the big deal was. She said she had a few nights of staying up way too late reading it, and I quickly saw why. It’s definitely a page turner and a great mystery. Lots of uncomfortable teen behavior, though the two main characters aren’t involved in it. The main main character Pippa is hugely likable. I’ll probably read the sequel at some point. My daughter wants to watch the movie on Netflix now, but I’m hesitant for her to see that “uncomfortable teen behavior” on the screen rather than just on the page. We’ll see.
