I’m SO excited for this!!

This is the equivalent of giving like to your own comments...but you introduced me to dragons and I owe you a lot, will gladly read it.

I wonder if the ¨Big Fish¨ is one of the magic animals on vorgurad and if so is murtagh living or going to the dragon city of old

I went to your book signing at the Phoenix zoo when I was a kid and blurted out something like 'please don't kill Murtagh' and I was so embarrassed afterward. Thanks for keeping him alive all these years

I love to see authors reading their own books. As an author myself, I read the final copy of my book at least four times before publishing it. (And that doesn't count reading through all the earlier drafts.)

Will content be similar age-appropriate level as Inheritance Cycle? Just reread them at same time as my 12 year old and hoping Murtagh will be similar content so he can read it too.

A biased review…but I will forgive you ;) just started reading, and I am thrilled to return to an old favorite world! :)

I love that you just reviewed your own book 🤣 Murtagh was SO good. It took me right back to Alagaesia. I have to reread The Inheritance Cycle every few years, so I’ll probably obviously have to add Murtagh in with those😆

Full honest disclosure;
I heard about this release, andcwas excited but put it on the back burner due to other priorities. Now that I see it is a continuation of The Inheritance Cycle (not a fan of cycles) and not a standalone story, I am less enthused. I always saw "Inheritance as the story of Eragon. Now that that story has reached a conclusion(?), telling the story of other characters doesn't seem to have any inherent connection other than being in the same setting. It's the same reason I couldn't read anything after "Dune:Messiah", there seemed to be no point or purpose in telling the story after Paul was not in it, since he was established as the lynchpin character in both the plot development and the interplay of characters.
I'll read "Murtagh" with hope, but not with as much enthusiasm.

Definitely liked it, just parts of it reminded me of the smaller book you did that had Murtagh in it. But you really outdid Murtagh. Glad that he got a story too!
