Although I enjoyed this book and the way it flowed I did get a bit irritated by the way Christie kept making excuses for her fiancé, especially due to the fact he wanted to be in charge and order her to do what he wanted. She seemed blinded by what she assumed was love. It was breath of fresh air when he showed his true colours and she realised what was happening. Despite this I found it was well worth reading and showed how life can be if you stand up for yourself.
