Quicksilver started off terribly, the writing was poor, the dialogue was basic, but the idea was good and so I read on, and then, and then something changed, the writing got better, the dialogue became more 'realistic' and the story just hooked you. By the 40% mark, I felt like I was on to something special, something remarkable. I became hooked. I needed to know if the enemies become lovers and when, how? What happens next. I was speeding my way through this book, just devouring the words, then tension. Then the ending.... omgosh!!!!
Thank goodness the next book comes out October because I don't think I can wait much longer.
Ordinary I'd only give 4 stars because of how poor the book started, but I want to read this book again, so automatically, it's now a 5 star book.
If you're struggling to finish this book and under the 40% mark, push through, it will be worth it....more

Stop wasting my time and money booktok you've got no taste....more

It's a great read, especially for the autumn, when the nights are drawing in.
