Sites that use HTTP authentication (like HTTP basic or digest) immediately fail to log in (e.g. Apache '401 Unauthorized' page shows up). Any chance of implementing the necessary bits to make HTTP-based log ins work?

Any chance of this being implemented? If not, I'm no Android programmer but might take a crack at it as I really need this feature.

It's unlikely that I will implement this, as I have no use for it. Pull requests are welcome though.
