Verified Gravatar Accounts

Gravatar allows already to verify a Gravatar profile via other social media accounts.
Getting this information via the API - for example via a number, a verification points system - would be helpful.

For example, we have projects where students can reach out to other students or advisors (on a cold-call basis). A more sophisticated system for evaluating who can reach out immediately, and which request needs some additional moderation would be very valuable. Gravatar could provide an indicator for such an evaluation.
