Seth Mechansim
Mechanism of Seth When Seth’s energy bar “Resolves” reaches 75%, Seth can use the Holding Basic Attack button to consume 75% of the energy. This grants the teammates a shield that lasts for 25 seconds, and the character holding Seth’s shield will have their Anomaly Proficiency increased by 100. In other words, with Seth’s support, Anomaly-type teammates will not only have their survivability greatly enhanced but also see a significant boost in their damage output.
How to Acquire “Resolves” How does Seth accumulate his unique energy “Resolves”? The first way to accumulate it is by using Ex Special, which grants 75% “Revolves”. The second way is by triggering Defensive Assist, which accumulates 25% “Revolves”. However, since Seth usually teams up with Jane, and Jane typically uses Dodge Counter instead of Defensive Assist, the second method is seldom used in practice. The third way is to accumulate 75% “Revolves” by using Chain Attack or Ultimate. Overall, in practice, Seth typically gains “Resolves” by using Ex Special, then immediately holding the Basic Attack button before switching to Jane. The next common way to gain “Resolves” is through Chain Attack.

When Basic Attack: Lightning Strike – Electrified or Assist Follow-Up: Public Security Ruling triggers a Quick Assist or Chain Attack, causing another squad member to enter the field, that squad member gains a Shield of Firm Resolve equal to 40%/50%/60%/68%/72%/76%/80% of Seth’s initial ATK, up to a max of 3,000 points, and lasting 25s. This can be triggered once every 10s. A Shield of Firm Resolve grants a 50/62/75/85/90/95/100 point increase to Anomaly Proficiency.

Defense-type characters don’t have a strong preference for W-Engines, but the following two W-Engines are particularly suitable for Seth.
The first choice is his 4-star signature W-Engine, which increases Energy Regen and Anomaly Build-up efficiency.
Another option is Spring Embrace, which also increases Seth’s Energy Regen. Additionally, when Seth switches to off-field, it provides the same effect for his teammates.
For Disk Drives, the first recommended setup is 4 pcs Swing Jazz paired with 2 pcs Hormone Punk. Swing Jazz increases Seth’s Energy Regen and grants a 15% damage boost during the Daze Period for teammates. Although Jane’s team may enter the Daze Period less frequently, Swing Jazz remains one of the best sets in the current version. The 2 pcs Hormone Punk provide an ATK% boost, increasing Seth’s shield strength.
Another recommended Disk Drive setup is 4 pcs Freedom Blues combined with 2 pcs Swing Jazz. This setup is ideal for Jane’s Disorder team or Grace’s Shocking team. The 4 pcs Freedom Blues reduce the enemy’s Shocking Build-up RES, enhancing the frequency of triggering Shocking. The 2 pcs Swing Jazz offer Energy Regen for Seth, allowing more frequent use of Ex Special and improving the coverage of Seth’s buffs.
Main Stats For Slot 4, use Anomaly Proficiency. With this setup, Seth can also be useful in a Jane’s Disorder team or Grace’s Shocking team. For Slot 5, use ATK% to increase the shield value. For Slot 6, use Energy Regen so that Seth can frequently use Ex Special to increase buff coverage. For Slot 4, use Anomaly Proficiency. With this setup, Seth can also be useful in a Jane’s Disorder team or Grace’s Shocking team.
Sub Stats For sub stats, prioritize Atk% as the top choice, as it increases Seth’s shield strength. Other attributes to consider include AP.
Seth only needs to use Ex Special or Chain Attack to gain 75% “Revolves.” Then, by holding down the basic attack, you can trigger an Enhanced Basic Attack, which provides Jane with 100 Anomaly Proficiency. This makes it easier for Jane to achieve the Core Passive’s condition for 100% Crit Rate on Assault. Additionally, Jane gains a shield, offering a safer environment for her to deal damage. Moreover, Seth’s Team Passive can reduce the enemy’s Anomaly Buildup RES, speeding up the frequency at which Jane triggers Assault.
Rina can provide Jane with a significant PEN ratio buff, increasing Jane’s Assault damage. However, the downside is that the buff duration is too short. M1 Rina can extend the buff duration, making her the best support for Jane currently.
Jane can also pair with Qingyi to create a Disorder Team, which requires a different approach. Start by using a Stun character to put the enemy into a Dazed state. Then, activate Jane’s Chain Attack to charge up the “Passion Stream,” followed by Seth’s Chain Attack. Immediately after, hold down the Basic Attack button—this will grant Jane a shield and an AP buff. Once that’s set, switch to Jane for damage output, with the added benefit of potentially dealing Disorder damage while the enemy is still Dazed.
Seth takes Grace’s Shock team to the next level. Seth can provide Grace with 100 AP and a shield, boosting her damage and creating a safer on-field environment
