Update log : Updated skill priority and added character’s mechanism.
Corin equipped with for the fight with role. Corin is one of the A Rank characters in Zenless Zone Zero.
Corin Builds are included in this guide, you can jump to Corin Build Here.
Corin’s damage output absolutely leverages the advantages of the Daze mechanism to the fullest. Her incredibly high multiplier on her EX Special even surpasses the Burst ability of most agents. This single-skill advantage makes her the best short-burst Physical-type main DPS agent among the current A-rank agents. The 3rd and 5th of her Basic Attack and her Special can extend the duration via long pressing. However, her slow damage output make her efficiency less appealing and always at risk of being interrupted. Luckily, Corin’s damage output focuses mainly on her EX Special, which has strong anti-interruption capabilities when released. This provides a solid foundation for Corin to stick close to the enemy.

For W-Engine, A-Rank Housekeeper (at R5) is suprisingly performing well due to its Energy Regen effect that is suitable for Corin. As Corin is a Burst-role, Housekeeper R5 provide Crit Rate and EX-Special as the main skill DPS, Housekeeper can get a stackable buff everytime Corin use EX-Special, at a maximum of 15 stacks in Physical DMG boost for 45%. Her second choice is the S-Rank Steel Cushion, which increase Physical DMG and boost damage by attack enemy from behind, however using it you will need to position her well while outputting damage.
Alternatively you can use Cannon Rotor for her placement, it can boost Corin with Crit Rate & the passive effect can be triggered via Corin’s Crit Hit.
You can use B-Rank W-Engine [Lunar] series at the beginning as transitional, as they all also boost ATK% and Crit Rate.

Sub Stats
For Disk Drives, it is recommended to equip Corin with 4 pcs Fanged Metal or 4 pcs Hormone Punk with 2 pcs Woodpecker Electro or 2 pcs Hormone Punk.
For Fanged Metal 2 pcs provides a 10% Physical DMG boost, 4pcs allows the team to place a debuff on enemy with an additional 35% damage.
For Hormone Punk you can decide to go for 2 pcs or 4 pcs. Its 2 pcs provides 10% damage buff, while 4 pcs increase 20% damage for 10s when entering combat or switching in, with 20 CD.
The 2 pcs bonus of Woodpecker Electro increases Crit Rate.
For main stats, Slot 4 should be Crit Rate or Crit DMG, Slot 5 is best with Physical DMG Bonus, followed by PEN (Penetration). Slot 6 should have Energy Regen or ATK%, both aiming to increase the single-use damage of Ex Special or the frequency of Ex Special usage. For sub-stats, prioritize Crit Rate and Crit DMG, followed by ATK% and PEN.

The physical team consists of Lycaon, Nekomata, and Corin. In terms of Bangboo, the S Rank choice is Butler while the A Rank Bangboo can be Sumoboo. In this lineup, Lycaon primarily creates Daze on-field. Nekomata can attack frequently through Assist Follow-up, using off-hand Ex Special and then returning off-field. Since Nekomata’s skill Daze multiplier is also decent, she can assist Lycaon in putting enemies into the Daze state faster. During this process, Nekomata can compensate for some DMG by performing small bursts by attack from the back of the target. When enemy is in the Daze state, it’s Corin’s turn to come on the field. Corin’s Ex Special, with various buffs, deals considerable damage. Therefore, during the enemey’s Daze period, after Lycaon applies the vulnerability debuff, Corin can come on the field and use Ex Special to deal massive damage.
In terms of team passives, Lycaon and Corin belong to Victoria Housekeeping Co., while Corin and Nekomata share the same attribute, which successfully triggers all characters’ team passives. To summarize, this is a Daze-oriented team. Due to Nekomata’s presence, the strategy of switching Lycaon and Nekomata allows the enemy to enter the Daze state faster than in the Pure Ice Team, resulting in more frequent Daze periods. However, the damage output during a single Daze period relies almost entirely on Corin, which, in terms of quality, is not as good as Ellen in the Pure Ice Team.

Burst
The physical team consisting of Piper, Nekomata, and Corin is currently the best physical team. Piper handles stuns and deals Anomal Buildup, while Nekomata uses Quick Assist for damage output. During the Daze period, switch to Corin for burst damage.
