By sending Pals to the breeding farm along with Cake and patiently awaiting the production of an egg, players can unlock a variety of possibilities. This system allows for the development of an entirely new species known as Combo Pals, which possess extraordinary abilities and characteristics. Alternatively, players can also generate innovative Pals that can be incorporated into their team, put to work, or even utilized as a source of nourishment through the condenser.

Step to start breeding

1. Reach level 19 and research the Breeding Farm.
2. Construct the Breeding Farm at your base.
3. Construct a Cooking Pot (unlocked at level 17).
4. Prepare and cook a Cake in the Cooking Pot (this process takes some time).
5. Once the Cake is ready, place it inside the chest attached to the Breeding Farm.
6. Select two pals of opposite genders from your Palbox and assign them to work at your base.
7. Lift the chosen pals from the Palbox and assign them to the Breeding Farm.
8. If the pals are compatible, wait for approximately twenty minutes.
9. After the waiting period, you should find a new Egg in the center of the farm, and the Cake will be gone.
10. Transfer the Egg to an Incubator, and it will hatch, giving birth to a new Pal.

Step to get the Breeding Cake

1. Obtain 5 units of Flour. You can acquire flour by cultivating Palworld Wheat and processing it through a Mill constructed at your base.
2. Gather 8 Red Berries. These are easily obtained by establishing a Berry Plantation as one of the initial steps in creating your Palworld base. Alternatively, search the Plateau of Beginnings for berry bushes.
3. Acquire 7 units of Milk. Construct a Ranch and assign Mozzarina to it, as she is responsible for producing milk.
4. Obtain 8 Eggs. Construct a Ranch and assign Chikipi to it, as Chikipi is responsible for laying eggs.

Gather 2 units of Honey. Construct a Ranch and assign Beegarde to it. Alternatively, you can battle Cinnamoths in the middle of the map to obtain honey.

Once you have gathered all these ingredients, combine them in a Cooking Pot. Please note that this process requires a significant amount of time. It is advisable to have a Pal with a high Kindling score to expedite the cooking process. Even with such a Pal, it is recommended to return after approximately half an hour to check if it is ready. If you wish to make multiple cakes, construct multiple Cooking Pots and assemble a team of Fire-Element Pals to work together in an improvised patisserie.
