REYNATIS Story Plot
Set in 2024 Shibuya, Tokyo, the Criminal Magic Response Act has enforced a curfew, prohibiting citizens from roaming the streets at night. Seeing the act of oppression, Marin Kirizumi, a wizard who grew up oppressed due to his magical prowess, arrives in Shibuya at night.
There, he meets Sari Nishijima, a fellow wizard who seeks to maintain order and believes the oppression she sees is just and necessary in order to protect Shibuya from disorder and danger.
REYNATIS is the meeting of Marin and Sari, as their ideals and magic clash against each other and cultures evolve.
REYNATIS Gameplay
REYNATIS is a heavy action RPG where you can stylishly perform combos and moves against enemies. The game allows you to freely switch between two modes: Suppressed Mode and Liberated Mode.
In Suppressed Mode, you cannot perform any offensive actions, but you can dodge and avoid incoming attacks with ease. In Liberated Mode, your entire offensive magical powers are unlocked and you can unleash all your abilities– but you will have no access to defensive or evasive maneuvers.
The two modes are not only for combat, but also for exploration. While normally walking the streets of Shibuya in Suppressed Mode, your identity and all actions of yours will be concealed, but you will not be able to receive any information from NPCs. In Liberated Mode, you’re allowed to use your magic to freely explore Shibuya quickly, but you run the risk of being reported to the authorities who will come to arrest you.
Choose and flip between the two modes in premise moments and go explore and fight through Shibuya!

The release date announcement trailer is the 2nd trailer with English subtitles, finally cluing us in as to what they talked about! The main focus was the struggle between free-roaming wizazrds of Shibuya and the government that continues to maintain order and surpress the use of magic.
REYNATIS X The World Ends with You Trailer
The REYNATIS X The World Ends with You trailer is the surprise announcement of the game's collaboration with Square Enix’s TWEWY franchise, where in this case in particular is NEO:TWEWY. The trailer features the Reaper’s game, Shoka, and a tease of Rindo.
2nd Trailer
The second trailer is entirely in Japanese, and we therefore are not able to discern much of the dialogue being said, but it has numerous cutscenes showing off new characters and combat that raises curious eyebrows and adds more mystery to the game’s narrative.
Announcement Trailer
The announcement trailer is the first unveiling of the game, where it shows off the premise of the story where Marin, a 14-year old wizard has come to stir trouble in Shibuya.
