Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake Story Plot
The story of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D will most likely be a retelling of the original. Set before the events of DQ 1 and 2, it stars the Hero, the child of the legendary warrior Ortega who was said to have fallen and died in a volcano. On their 16th birthday, they are summoned by the King of Aliahan to continue their father’s quest, which was to travel the world and defeat the evil archfiend Baramos.
The Hero then recruits three other party members and sets out on an adventure across the world.

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake will retain the original’s classical turn-based RPG gameplay, where you will have a party of heroes that will fight against random enemy encounters within dungeons or in the overworld. You will be able to command each individual character to perform different moves and skills relating to their class, from soldier, pilgrim, wizard, fighter, merchant, and much more!
What will mostly change from the original will be the fully upgraded visuals and reimagined music similar to that of the Final Fantasy pixel remasters, where all sprite work and soundtracks were redone and recomposed for their HD remakes.
