T-Pain Reveals Involvement in GTA 6
Restricted from Role-Playing in GTA RP Servers Following His Involvement in GTA 6
The disclosure came during a live stream where rapper T-Pain explained his absence from GTA Online's RP community, No Pixel, after a fan asked him to be on the RP server. T-Pain cited Rockstar's directive to step back once he became involved in GTA 6.
"I used to be on NoPixel, then I started working on GTA 6, and they told me I couldn’t do RP anymore. It kind of goes against… they had this whole speech, like, ‘What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it, and more people were listening to that,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time. Alright that’s fine.'"
Rockstar acquired Cfx.re, the team behind the biggest Rockstar roleplay and creator communities, FiveM and RedM, in August 2023. The acquisition aimed to support the roleplay creative community within Rockstar's mod policy.
T-Pain has been part of NoPixel since at least 2021 (via IGN). He expressed his disappointment at being unable to continue RP due to Rockstar's guidelines. Despite the constraints, he remained excited about his contribution to the game.
T-Pain's Role in GTA 6 Unconfirmed
The rapper didn’t reveal exactly what role he plays in GTA 6. Fans speculate that he might voice a radio host or make music for the game, while others entertain the possibility of a more significant character portrayal. T-Pain did not delve into specifics during the stream.
