OK folks ... here we go! I hereby declare Frozen Lighthouse Season '09 OPEN! Taken today in Grand Haven, MI ... about 4:15 pm. A heavy cloud bank swallowed the sun so the actual sunset (@5:09) was less than spectacular ... but I think I got some pretty snazzy pictures between 4 and 4:30. There is WONDERFUL ice out there right now (thanks to the strong (50-60mph) winds of the past week). If you live in West Michigan and you like frozen lighthouses ... head on out!
