One notable Vertigo created from the spirit of a resident of Luca who promised his friend that they would travel Spira together. Hiding in the docks on the day they were fulfill their promise, Vertigo waits from his friend for hours before finding his friend became a Barbuta as they stow away.

Etymology[]
Vertigo comes from the Latin word vertere, to turn and the suffix igo, a condition of turning about. Vertigo is a type of dizziness felt as a shift in a person's relationship to the normal environment or a sense of movement in space.
