An animated and light-hearted blitzball player from the metropolis of Zanarkand. Sent to the unknown world of Spira, he meets Yuna and joins her on her pilgrimage as a guardian. His naturally cheerful demeanor and actions even transform the principles of Spira. Tidus resents his father, the legendary Jecht, and is known for his outspoken nature.

Tidus is a playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia who can be recruited during the Lost Chapter From Zanarkand.

Tidus wears a torn pair of black trousers with a yellow hooded shirt with the left sleeve torn off, instead covering his arm with a dark blue pauldron and a gauntlet. He wears a pendant with the Zanarkand Abes insignia, which also appears on his trousers.
His alternate costume, Zanarkand Abes Uniform, is an updated version of his first alternate costume from Dissidia 012 and its original appearance in Final Fantasy X.

- Tidus is paired up with Ceodore for his Force Mode. Both are youths living in the shadows of their celebrity fathers, and both quickly become friends in Act 3.
- Tidus serves as Zack's Force Mode partner. Both receive a sword that belonged to someone who has passed away and eventually perish at the end of their respective games.
