Enemies[]
Use[]
Lightning is a strong element, as most machine enemies are weak to it and are quite rampant during both times the player visits Midgar. In addition, very few enemies resist the element much, like Ice, making it a good element for fighting enemies with. For a powerful group-cast spell, the player will want to obtain the Trine spell from Materia Keeper at Mt. Nibel, or use Bolt2, Bolt3, Ramuh, and Swift Bolt for groups of enemies. The player may wish to try Magic Breath, Kujata, and Typhon, but will have to beware in case the enemy resists any of the other elements of these attacks.
In regards to protection, Lightning is not used by many enemies, so it is not an element to worry about protecting against except when fighting against Turks:Reno.
