Crafting (クラフト, Kurafuto?) is a gameplay feature in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which enables the player to create equipment with materials and gil, after acquiring their respective recipe (レシピ, Reshipi?). The player can obtain these recipes from various sources: regular and silver chests in towns and explorations, buying them from shops, or as rewards from quests or from events.

The feature is unlocked after the player reaches Town of Mitra in the main scenario; after a quick tutorial from Gylbart, the player will receive the Bronze Knife recipe and will have the craft menu unlocked on the home screen. It is divided in three subcategories: forge (鍛冶, Tan'ya?, lit. Blacksmithing), ability (アビリティ, Abiriti?) and synthesize (調合, Chōgō?, lit. Preparation).
