Barnabas is an enemy in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.

Barnabas is accompanied with Dr. Lugae, and deals immense physical damage to the party making him the first foe the player should take down first. When Barnabas targets a character, he will either cast Beam or Blaster. Blaster inflicts Instant Death, Paralysis, or nothing.
Strategy[]
Using Mirage (Blink), Protect, or just about anything that reduces physical damage is of great help. It also helps to have Rosa, Porom, or Leonora cast Slow on him.
