Banish II is a stronger version of the Banish spell. It can be learned by White Mages level 30+ and Paladins level 34+ by using a scroll of Banish II. The spell deals Light-based elemental damage, and is particularly effective against undead.
Casting Banish II with Afflatus Misery active grants a damage bonus to the spell based on the most recent damage taken by the caster. The record of damage taken is reset upon use.
The scroll to learn Banish II can be purchased from shops in Selbina and Windurst Waters for 8,100~9,360 gil, or bought from the player-stocked auction house from players seeking to sell for a profit.
Final Fantasy XIV (Legacy)[]
Banish II appeared as an ability at the initial release. It was a Thaumaturge spell available for use at Rank 24, costed 3 action points to set, and had an MP cost of 22. The ability dealt astral-elemental damage and reduced the magic defense on a single enemy.
After the release of patch 1.20, Banish II; along with Banish, became unusable by any class.
