COVID-19 Procedures

1. Introductions
The following document is the Case Western Reserve University Film Society’s (henceforth known as Film Society) changes in procedures due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Generally, the philosophy with these changes is to keep our staff and our patrons as safe as possible while attempting to maintain our weekly showings. All of the changes that are listed in this document are subject to change without warning. Film Society will strive to maintain constant communication with the Case Western Reserve University administrators and will follow any direction the University would like to take, even if it means canceling showings. This website will contain the most up-to-date procedures that we will be following and will be updated in real time. 2. General Operations
- The following changes shall be made effective immediately:
- - Masks are no longer required to be worn when attending a Film Society showing.
- - Anyone who does not comply with the University Safety policies will be asked to leave the event without refund.
- - Film Society will still be hosting showings every Friday and Saturday night. Times of showings and the number of showings on a given night are subject to the discretion of the Film Society’s Director(s). Changes made to these can be made without warning.
- - Online ticket sales for any canceled showings will be refunded. (Note that some fees when purchasing tickets using PayPal can’t be refunded.)
- - Prices for tickets/concessions are subject to the Film Society. Visit films.case.edu/pricesloc.php for up to date prices.
- - Hand sanitizer will be made available for patrons and staff at all point of service locations.
- - Masks and gloves will be available and provided by the Film Society to all staff members at no cost to the staff.
3. Ticket Sale Operations
- The following changes shall be made effective immediately:
- - A container of hand sanitizer will be made available for both staff and patrons to use at the ticketing table.
- - All staff must limit the number of times items are handed between themselves and patrons.
- - All staff who worked in the Tickets Stand will be required to wash their hands before returning to normal duties after a showing starts.
4. Accepting Payments
- The following changes shall be made effective immediately:
- - Buy 5 passes will be implemented and will cost $16 in order to provide more purchase options for tickets.
5. Public Access
- The following changes shall be made effective immediately:
- - The general public is now welcome back at any of our events however they must adhere to university safety policies.
